Born in the 1970s in Imperia, I spent my childhood and adolescence in the picturesque south of France, between Provence and the French Riviera, in the beautiful villages of St Paul de Vence and Beaulieu-sur-Mer.
This idyllic environment shaped my childhood and led to a profound understanding of the luxury sector and the people within it.
I had the privilege of studying piano for six years at the Conservatoire de Cimiez in Nice.
This experience enriched my artistic sensibility and taught me the importance of commitment and discipline.
At eighteen, I graduated with a diploma in Economic and Social Sciences (Baccalauréat B) and then pursued higher education in Turin, Italy, followed by studies at the University of Sussex in Brighton, UK, focusing on art history.
My passion for travel and innate curiosity have always driven me to seek new challenges and professional opportunities.
In 2012, I entered the nautical world by working for Nautica Imperia Services, a pivotal moment in my life.
This choice marked the beginning of an adventure that combines my profession with my passion, opening the doors to a cosmopolitan and dynamic world.
In my first year at the agency, I primarily handled administration, accounting, client assistance, and logistics.
Over time, I became increasingly involved in organising the operations of our shipyard, Imperia Yacht Service.
This transition allowed me to develop specific technical knowledge regarding boat maintenance and refitting processes, enabling me to confidently address the issues with clients and technicians.
I had the opportunity to follow numerous projects, collaborating with my colleagues to achieve a unique goal: client satisfaction.
Throughout these thirteen years in the yachting industry, I have met a variety of people and had the chance to get to know some truly extraordinary individuals, whose success has been based on continuous training, hard work, commitment, and strong ethics.
These qualities are and will always be my guiding principles.
I am also encouraged by the positive evolution of the sector, particularly the increasing presence of women in maritime roles, who are reshaping the narrative of a traditionally male-dominated field and paving the way for younger generations.
My commitment extends beyond immediate results; I prioritise building lasting relationships based on trust and mutual respect.
I take pride in assisting some clients since 2012, cherishing the long-term connections we have established.
Over the past few years, I have faced professional challenges that have developed my strength and resilience.
While change can sometimes be difficult to accept, it brings renewed opportunities for growth and improvement.
Indeed, my desire to progress has driven me to pursue a diploma in yacht brokerage in 2024 at the Maritime Training Academy, eager to gain a deep understanding of the complex transactions related to yachts.
Collaborations with brokers have provided me with interesting insights into the industry, and my desire was to be actively involved in the buying and selling of boats.
My passion for the sea is not confined to my professional life; it is a fundamental aspect of who I am, and I believe we all have a responsibility to protect our oceans.
At Nautica Imperia Services, we proudly sponsor Delfini del Ponente, a local organisation dedicated to safeguarding our Ligurian Sea and its rich biodiversity.
The commitment of these young volunteers to educate future generations about environmental responsibility is essential and should be supported.
As Sir David Attenborough wisely stated, “If children don’t grow up knowing about nature and appreciating it, they will not understand it, and if they don’t understand it, they won’t protect it… and if they don’t protect it, who will?”
